A smart cloth chair overlay that monitors posture and provides alerts to help correct it over time.

Project Overview

Back Buddy is an innovative posture-correction system designed as a comfortable cloth overlay for chairs. It actively monitors the user's posture with integrated pressure sensors and, when poor posture is detected, inflates air cells to guide the user back into proper alignment. A companion mobile app provides real-time feedback and long-term posture analytics.

The goal is to help users build lasting, healthy spinal-alignment habits while fitting seamlessly into their daily routines at work or home.
